Our Large Bamboo Bowl is simple, modern and elegant. This bowl is perfect for salad, chips or fruit. Hand-crafted from lightweight, pressed bamboo, it is lightly textured, but smooth to the touch and light chocolate in color. Bamboo is one of the most environmentally friendly and renewable resources in the world.

Bamboo is actually a grass that grows to a harvestable height between 3-5 years. Some species grow up to 2 feet per day. After harvesting bamboo does not require replanting as it has an extensive root system that continually sends up new shoots naturally replenishing itself.

Bamboo holds the promise of a sustainable cost effective and ecologically responsible alternative to the widespread clearcutting of our old growth forests.
